Allis B water pump seal rebuild

Anybody have a source for the seal? Or, has anybody figured out an upgrade to a "normal" mechanical seal? With a piece of tubing pressed/welded onto the shoulder in the housing under the impeller, a regular seal could be installed. There is more than enough room below the impeller to accomodate with the old carbon and spring thingy removed.

Already bought a new pump, just hate to toss the original that was otherwise in good shape.

Napa will be able to get you a kit. I would advise to just take in your old water pump and get a rebuild.
