WD clutch and brake pedal and shaft removal

So I have a brand new clutch and brake pedal shaft to install, but I also need to take the old pedals off so I can have them bored out and a brass bushing installed. Any tips or tricks to doing this without going overboard, or having to figure out how to adjust stuff back properly when everything is back together? Or other tips about it?

Also, thinking of having the hand clutch sleeved as well (not sure I want to mess with the shaft, as I hear getting it out is extremely painful?). Thoughts on how hard this would be to do?

Requires two bushings. This is for late 1949 and later models.

The hand clutch lever has a replaceable bushing in it available from agco.
