Can anyone identify this Allis Chalmers motor grader? I believe it is an M65. As best I can tell the S/N is 24A01159.
Thanks

Hi Aaron,
Well if it is an M65 as we assume, what model is it as identified on this website under "Parts Look Up"?
Thanks

Given it is a grader, not a tractor, I doubt you will find parts, with the exception of some parts that might have been common with tractors at that time, for it on this site. Even then, it will be a case of you needing to know what tractor to look at, to find the part you need.

If you post what parts you are looking for someone might have suggestions or give you ideas of what/where to check.

I will also suggest you try Minnpar. They have some AC parts catalogs free to use on their website and they have some parts for AC equipment. Some of the AC construction equipment catalogs will show as Fiat Allis. Here is a link to the AC catalogs on their website. https://www.minnpar.com/manuals3.as...;SFName=FIAT_ALLIS_MOTOR_GRADER_PARTS_MANUALS

You might also try posting about this on the Crawiers, Dozers, Loaders, and Backhoes Forum; about three down from this Forum. There are some guys that hangout there that might have some ideas and info for you.

eBay has some manuals for it.

You might go to the unofficial Allis website and ask on the construction equipment forum over there. There are some guys knowledgeable on these traders over there.

Its actually a Fiat Allis. I'd have no idea where to get parts. I also have no idea what they used for engine, drive train, etc. What parts do you need?

Check if the motor is ALLIS or FIAT.......... Built for several years, should be some parts
still available.

info-----------y 1964, the model DD was being built with a box-type welded frame to replace the
former tubular design. Then in 1971, both the D and DD graders were superseded by the Allis-
Chalmers M65 and, although retaining its 10-foot blade, weight and power increased to 10,915
pounds and 59 flywheel horsepower. Improvements over the former models included hydrostatic
steering and new sheet metal. In January 1974, Allis-Chalmers and Fiat S.p.A. of Italy formed the
Fiat-Allis joint venture. The M65 continued the success of its predecessors as the Fiat-Allis 65;
and in 1979, as the 65-B, received a 68-flywheel-horsepower Fiat engine with powershift
transmission and a weight boost to 13,315 pounds.

Noram Construction Equipment was formed in 1992 to market the Fiat-Allis 65B grader in North
America. Three years later, it launched the redesigned articulated FiatAllis FG65C with New
Holland 80-horsepower engine and torque proportioning rear axle drive. These machines were made
in the Vermeer plant at Pella, Iowa, until 2001.

Great information from everyone. Many thanks!
From what I can tell, given your input, I am working on an M65 Fiat-Allis from the mid 70's. My S/N is 24A 01159 and the engine is a D262. I'm currently working on the rear brakes. Found a local truck shop that can reline the shoes and find all of the necessary pieces for me to rebuild the brake assys. Great Fun!
Thanks again.
I gotta say, pulling the drums was a real challenge. :?
