Gleans E bent pus rods

I have an AC Model E Gleaner combine with the 226 four cylinder gas engine. Former owner said it had a stuck valve. Digging into it today I found two bent push rods, the intakes on cylinders 1 and 2. I found no stuck valves. I can push each down with the heel of my hand and all return normally. I note the two intakes with the bent push rods are nearest the coolant connection to the head. With those push rods removed the remaining valve all see to operate normally. So I'm wondering what might have happened and how much further I should look.

Stick in a couple of push rods, adjust the tappets to .015" COLD on all tappets and run it.

Takes a stuck valve or a rocker gets loose enough for the push rod to get under the edge of the adjuster ball. Like doc said, put a couple pushrods in and adjust them properly and don't worry about it.
