D-19 brakes

So the I-T manual list a D-19 as having both band and disk brakes is that true or is there a serial number break that they go from band to disk type of brakes

The brakes were advertised as "combination band AND disc brakes". First used on the D-19 and then D-17 S-3 & 4 and D-21. Gleaner combines also got them on F and G models. Designed and made by the BENDIX Corporation. You'll also find them on older Uni-Harvestor machines.

I don't know and that is why I am asking. I may end up having to work on the brakes on a D-19 in the near future

I have never had any luck making a link to a page in the AGCO parts books. Use this link: https://apb.agcocorp.com/

Down at the lower right in the Guest User area click on "View Books" which will take you to the search page. Click the Model tab Then enter D19 in the search box. Check the AGCO Allis box on the left and the exact match box. and search. The book should come up for you.

go to the AGCO parts books

https://apb.agcocorp.com/

Click on VIEW BOOKS under Guest User
Type in D19. When the menu comes up, click on D19 TRACTOR.
Scroll down to '200 Brake'

The AGCO Parts Books are an excellent reference, and show the AGCO part numbers to order if needed.
