I am searching to see if anyone has this style of front driven Webster pump for parts . It is on the front of my AC 615 backhoe .

well it was dripping from the bottom between two plates and also from the front section. The repair shop called and said he has the o-
ring kit for it in stock as he is a Webster pump dealer and he said someone actually welded one of the aluminum sections on one of the
plates and ground it down and it does not fit good and also the aluminum weld was full of air bubbles . hard to believe someone would
do that but anyways ,he said he needs the front gear that has the 7/8" shaft as this one is pitted and also the end case that the shaft
goes thru and then I think its one of the sections in the middle . so Im looking for any parts I can.

Sorry to say, I've never seen one of those machines. I assume they're as scarce as hen's teeth. As I said, AC used many versions of that pump. Many with three sections. Some with built in priority valves, etc. Also, as I said, that pump looks most like the one used on the 6000 series farm tractors, hose inlet, two sections. But, that is subject to my old memory! I imagine you're a lot more apt to find a junked/burned up 6000 series than the backhoe.

yes your discription of the 6000 sounds just like it . maybe i should place another add for a 6000 , 2 pressure outlets and built in priority valve for the backhoe and loader . the thing is I think that there would not be any reason for a 6000 to use 2 pressure outlets unless one went to loader and the other to the power steering and 3 point and traction booster if that was still being used . My 615 has its own pump and resivor in the torque tube for the power steering and it would also handle a 3 point and traction booster if it was an ag model but since mine has the backhoe and loader and 2 different volumes to feed each I guess that if the 6000 and the dual pump had close to the same volume and priority setup was the same then it might be a swap.I guess I will advertise for a 6000 and see if I get any response.

You say your hydraulic guy is a Webster dealer and has the seal kit in stock. Are the gears and plates you need no longer available? Another option might your hydraulic guy, as a Webster dealer, could spec out a new pump to match it.

he is having a hard time because this pump has a oddball 7/8" shaft and a keyway . most pumps are 1" gear shaft

Doesn't that use a chain coupling between the pump shaft and the engine shaft? If so, can't you have the pump side of the coupling bored out to 1" to match a new shaft? Or use a different type coupling?

Yea I can replace that 1/2 of the chain with one that will match or bore it out to a 1" . hoping I dont have to change everything including
the hoses ect. maybe someone out there has a used pump .

AC 6060 and 6080 hydraulic pumps flow 11.5 GPM out the lift section and 7.6 GPM out of the power steering section, both at 2300 engine RPM.

well those pumps would possibly work if the 11.5 pump went to the loader and the 7.5 pump went to backhoe. I wonder if it would bolt up
the same . wish I had a tractor to look 6000 series to compare .
