oil changing

Six quarts. Includes filling a new filter. I would use 10-30, 10-40, or 20-50 depending on how worn the engine is and how cold or hot it is going to be.

probably should use heavier oil, the oil in it is kinda thin and the bearings knock on higher idle, thats why i need to change it to see if the knocking stops, hopefully

I would use 15-40 Delvac, it's one of the better oils and very reasonable with the rebates. It's about $11 a gallon and a $5 rebate, you can't buy automotive oil for that and Delvac is a lot better for old tractors anyhow!
