Wd serial

Just bought a WD with the serial wd103489 but searching I can't find anything to tell me any info on it. Any ideas?

With Serial number 103489, you have a 1951 WD. Tested at the Univ of Nebraska between 17 May and 1 Jun, 1950 . Nebraska Test #440. TractorData.com has listings of many
Nebraska Tests. Also, there is a serial number listing over on the left side of this page.

Its not like a car VIN. There is nothing to tell buried in the serial number. Its simply a sequential number of production. The charts only show first and last numbers built in a year and you look for your # in that range.
