Hey gang, I know the I400 is a d10/12 in disguise and I have some service manuals but I have some specific I400 questions...I have a leak on the ditch side main lift piston for the bucket. not terrible but a pretty steady drip...looks like a piston seal. I cant seem to find any information on repacking it or a parts list ...any help would be great...then we can tackle the PTO leak and brakes!

Hopefully someone has one and can help you with actual part numbers (which may or may not be available now). Based on what I have seen I expect you need to find a parts book for the loader itself, I know the hoe is a separate book. Minnpar has many AGCO/Allis catalogs on line and the I400 catalog they have is just for the tractor. You could try giving them a call and asking what they might have for the loader, they do a lot with parts for Allis Chalmers construction equipment. I didn't see any listed at Baum Hydraulics. Is there any identification on the loader itself? I just thinking there is also a chance it is not an I400 loader. Beyond this, I believe your best bet is to tear a cylinder down and take the parts to a shop that rebuilds cylinders. They will likely be able to match new parts to your old ones, that is a common practice with seals/packing components for old cylinders.

There is at least one service manual for I40 and I400 loaders, not the tractors, on eBay currently.

Thanks Jim!!
I will check out both suggestions!
I was hoping for something in AC Persian Orange if i was to own an old AC but this tractor will fit my needs and it's kind of a rare bird
