D-17 Hydraulics

Hello;

I have a 1963 D-17 Series 111 and want to know on that rear hydraulic point, how much flow and pressure comes out of that?
I am thinking of hooking up a Shaver post hole ram on it.

All the best

Probably a bad idea. Flow is only 4 to 5 gallons per minute. Pressure can be as high as 3,700 psi, but 3,000 psi for sure. The post pounder probably has it's own relief valve built into it to protect it from too much pressure, but it will be very slow with 4 to 5 GPM's. If you only have a few posts to drive and aren't in a hurry, go for it.
