Just picked up a WD45 with loader. Motor is locked up I think #4 is the problem.Any ideas?
where is the serial number or way to tell the year. It is a 4 cylinder gas. New to AC so know nothing about them yet.
I also got a set of 3 bottom plow and some goofy thing I assume is to hook up plows. Help advice pictures
thanks

serial # is left of the seat on the rear diff housing. pull the plugs out and look at them . should be signs of rust on a couple if rain has got in . if it has, then head has to come off due to exhaust pipe not being covered if it was covered then might be able to get it loose soaking it with some atf or mystery oil,

thanks will check for serial number.
Yes it has had some rain seems to be #4 is the worst
soaking in Marvel oil now

ATF is better and cheaper but if there is any water what so ever in the cylinder NOTHING will help. Plus you might as well soak all 4 since it has sat for while and the rings will be stuck in all 4 cylinders. Me I fill the cylinder and also pour ATF down the exhaust to free up the exhaust valves

appears you better remove head faster than waiting on oil that wont work anyway. have head of in less than 1 hr. and can do a proper job plus remove valves and clean out rust from guides. once rain has got in its too late unless you catch it in a couple days. oil does not remove rust plus hard on pistons and rings and the rings will be stuck in the grooves anyhow. plus it will have rust in the valve seats so they wont seal anyhow. meaning it wont have compression to start. a mechanic will tear it down a beginner will wait on potions. my wd45 sat for 30 years in a shed with pipe covered. it was stuck also, but I removed the plugs and saw no sign of rust. put in about 10 squirts of mystery oil in each cyl. let it sit for 2 days and tried the hand crank and she come free. once running I checked the compression and it was right up there . that was from condensation , but if rain has got in it your in trouble.

I looked for serial number and could not find it
is it a tag that can be easily lost?
is there a number somewhere else ?

Numbers are stamped on the left rear side of the rear end just below the brake cover. NO tag but a flat spot that can be painter over and hide the numbers

ok thanks
I though 53 but chart could be off
any way to find out how it was built
It has a wide front but I know it is aftermarket
also would like to find out what engine
