The spring came off on my Allis Chalmers D15 Tractor does anyone have a picture of where it hooks up on the lever or a video on how to put it back on

I think the spring hooks on an ear under the platform and around the round vertical part of the lever itself. You can easily tie the lever with a piece of mechanics wire back so it is out of the way.

I think there's an ear on the underside of the platform. The D14/15 lever works side to side and the spring keeps it away from your leg when sitting in the seat.

Per my memory tbere is no spring on the lever, the spring in the coupler pulls the lever back. The coupler spring wraps arou d the latch pivot pin.

There is a spring that pulls the lever inward so it sits against the transmission case. Otherwise it is hanging out for your leg to rub on. I grew up on one. Trust me. There is supposed to be a spring.
