The "F" terminal on the gen goes to the legitimate OEM style light switch, which is a GROUND. The light switch has a low charge (pushed in) and high charge (pulled out). The instrument panel has a screw in the lower left corner. IT HAS TO BE THERE AND CLEAN CONNECTION FOR A GROUND OR THE GEN CANNOT CHARGE !!! You could have a bad light switch. You can ground the "F" terminal at the gen to make it charge max output to verify the systems condition. A good solid ground. Not a poor ground.
