Hello, New to the group.
I have a couple questions reguarding the D 14. Can anybody please tell me the Point gap and Dwell angle settings? If it helps at all it has a #1112593 distributor. I was my fathers tractor and I haven't found the manual for it yet.
Also looking for a snap coupler? on the rear lift arms, one of mine is heavily worn and wont stay closed.
Thank you for your assistance.

Thank you for the terminology correction. I can probably build it back up, springs seem good, just the area where it clamps down it heavily worn.

Point gap is .020" per the manuals. The dwell is not given in either the Operator's or Service manuals, they just set the gap.

Terminology check re snap coupler: the snap coupler is the bell-shaped housing under the tractor which the drawbar snaps into. What you are looking for on the lift arms is a lift arm latch. They are hard to find. Can the worn areras be built up? New springs can be had as well.

Restoration Story: 1929 McCormick-Deering 10-20 - by Randal Simmon. On July 4th 1998 my dad and I was sitting on the front porch when he said that he was going to sell his two 10-20's to a junk man. He said that the junk man was going to give him $500 for both of them but he hadn't received the money for them yet. So I went into the house and wrote him a check for $500 and bought them myself and said now they are mine. He had bought them about five years before thinking that he was going to restore them himself. After five years sitting in the barn, he changed h
