yes i have fuel flowing freely to the pump. it has sat for a while and as far as i know it was running when parked. the shut off was always in the on position. we would pull it out to shut it off then push it back in. i think i found the model number today so im going to do some research. looks like the filters have been replaced with a different set up. it was my granddad's and im still trying to figure out what all he did to it before he passed away. i think it has a 844 buda motor.

Is the fuel flowing freely at the entry point of the pump? Have the filters been serviced lately. If the machine has sat unused for a long time debris in the tank and filters can really play into the picture even though it was parked running. I don't know what pump you may have but I understand that on some pumps (like on older Cats) the fuel shut off valve inside the pump can refuse to let go if it was left in the "off position" for extended time while the machine was not in use.

My name is Sean Brinston and I was 15 almost 16 at the time of this.My neighbour directly across the road who I had helped with hay all the time had this tractor sitiing at his house for what I thought was 6 years. Finally I got the money and courage to ask him. I phoned him and he said it was already sold, eight years ago! ... [Read Article]
