i have a allis chalmers hd 16 ac dozer and im trying to find some info. mainly what the injector pump model is. it is a early model i believe its somewhere between 1955 and 1957. i think the serial number is 1068 but i could be wrong. im not getting any fuel to the injectors and i think the pump may be stuck. any help would be great.
 
Is the fuel flowing freely at the entry point of the pump? Have the filters been serviced lately. If the machine has sat unused for a long time debris in the tank and filters can really
play into the picture even though it was parked running. I don't know what pump you may have but I understand that on some pumps (like on older Cats) the fuel shut off valve
inside the pump can refuse to let go if it was left in the "off position" for extended time while the machine was not in use.

yes i have fuel flowing freely to the pump. it has sat for a while and as far as i know it was running when parked. the shut off was always in the on position. we would pull it out to shut it off then push it back in. i think i found the model number today so im going to do some research. looks like the filters have been replaced with a different set up. it was my granddad's and im still trying to figure out what all he did to it before he passed away. i think it has a 844 buda motor.
