Hello everyone my name is Tyler Helt. My Homeroom teacher, science teacher and Currently my MTSS teacher Mr.Marple has a Allis Chalmers D12. He also has a Allis Chalmers D14 and 175. How many of you have a Allis Chalmers D12 and when did you get it and how did you get it and what s your story of your Allis Chalmers D12. What model year is it and can you please post a picture of it.

No answers yet not many D12 tractors around.I do have a D10 which is about the same tractor only in a narrow version so its a one row whereas the D12 is a 2 row. Both are good little
tractors capable of getting many jobs done.Bought my D10 in NC had been sitting for awhile got it up and running after some work.

We had Allis Chalmers tractors while I was growing up on the farm but that was before the D12 came out and the D12 would have been
too small for us. The D12 went from a 138 cu in displacement engine to a 149 cu in engine in 1961 which gave it about 5 more
horsepower. If you want to check out the numbers on it google up TractorData.com and look at the Nebraska Tractor Test numbers.
You will also find pictures of them. Google is your friend. (;>))

As far as I can see the very first ones came with snap coupler, but a 3pt adapter could be bought from AC,the series II could be had with snap coupler or factory 3pt,also a live hydraulic set up with the pump on the engine. Then they went to LPTO with the pump on the rear of the tractor. All the series III tractors I have ever seen had factory 3pt with the pump on the rear, also some Series III had a high/low giving them 8 speeds forward.

No D-12, but I have a series 11 D-10 149 cu in 4 cyl with 4 speed transmission live 3 point hitch and independant power take off. Real good working tractor more power than it needs no more than it weighs

My first time posting but I have a
d12 I bought about 15 years ago and
then traded it in 2 years later on a
180. Found out who bought it and in
January I contacted him ,he was ready
to thin his collection so I bought it
back. Now the grandboys have taken
claim to it so it's here to stay.
