D17 series 1 Hitch

There are two hydraulic levers to the left of the steering wheel. Both of them have to be DOWN as far as they will go. The longer lever (Lift/Lower lever) must be BELOW horizontal to be clear down. If you remove the hydraulic coupler connection behind and left of the seat, and then you stand on the lift arms, they will go down (engine OFF) because oil will purge from the cylinder. Reinstall the coupler and start the engine with both hydraulic levers DOWN. If the arms raise, you have Traction Booster linkage missing/damaged or out of adjustment. If Traction Booster linkage if in proper working order and adjusted correctly, then the hydraulic pump (internal) must have something wrong with it.
