Wd45 what haybine to use

I m looking to find out what he buying I can use with my WD 45. I would be using it to cut alfalfa Timothy mix pa I would be using it to cut alfalfa Timothy mix hay. Any help would be much appreciated.

I would think one like the NH460 I have would work. A WD45 is around 45HP and I pull it behind my Lover 77 which is rated at less HP. Yes the NH460 is very old but one that is sickle bar cut it should handle. A disk bine on the other hand not likely

I have pulled a NH 474 with my WD with no issues even up hill. I would think any 7' NH haybine would work.

Should be able to cut with most any 9 foot haybine. You might need to slow down a
bit in heavy hay.

I pulled a 1207 with a 3-cyl Ford 2000. Std PTO and used the 3-point for the lift. You should be fine with a 9 footer.

You can pull any seven or nine ft haybine you buy. You will most likely be cutting in low gear or maybe second in lighter hay. First hay I ever cut was with a WD45 and an IH 990 seven ft haybine. Best friend from school always pulled a nine ft Allis haybine with his 45. Tom

Certainly any 7 footer, and probably any 9 footer depending on terrain.
