Allis Chalmers C decals

The 1943 Allis C I purchased has a model decal on the radiator cover. According to the book by Guy Fay & Andy Kraushaar Allis did not put the model decals on any tractor befor 1951. My 43 has a faint model C quite high on the front radiator cover. It appears to be paint not a sticker of any kind. Also the tractor does not look like it has ever been repainted or touched up, it's pretty rusty and faded. There is also a pattent decal on the right side of the tool box below the gas tank behind the starter. I don't have a picture of the patent decal yet but I will get one today. I have not seen a patent decal like this one before. It is also not a sticker. Here is a picture of the C model badge.

I was mistaken, the patent IS a decal and tool box obviously off a later tractor. I think that the hood is not original to this tractor also, because of the dents in the gas tank and repairs to the steering sector it probably had a tree fall on it at sometime in it's past. Being in Northern MN it is mostly woods around here, very little farming.
The air cleaner has a stenciled tag that is barely visible like the model C that is stenciled on the radiator.
