d 15 engine

I've never done one, but I'd guess you have to use the CA flywheel/clutch. I'd question if the exhaust will come out thru the same hole in the hood, as I think the D-15 engine manifold is farther to the left. It has been done before by others I know.

(quoted from post at 01:44:15 09/22/19) That is It! You have to use the flywheel and clutch from the CA along with the exhaust!
There are more issues to solve.
I put a D14 engine in my B, it was the 149 ci. engine, the D15 II is the 160 ci.
For the D14 end in the B, yes I had to use the B clutch. Also had to use the B radiator and fan. The water temp gauge is electric and needs to be mounted somewhere, the muffler hole is in a different location, the aircleaner hole in the hood needs to be moved, the oil filler is in a different location, and the radiator support holes where it mounts to the engine need to be larger.
There may be other issues with the 160ci engine.

The CA has the 5/8" tapped hole for the front end the same as the D 15 but used a stepped stud down to the 1/2" diameter to fit the front casting or radiator support of the B. You can use the top casting above the water pump on the D 15 engine. It does take some body work on the hood if you want it to look like it came from the factory that way.
