D 15 diesel...

One for sale nearby. What is the good bad or ugly about these tractors? Never
restored an Allis before, but familiar with most old tractors. Has new rubber,
appears to be in good shape. Have yet to see it firsthand.

Thanks,
Ben

The good is, it is a diesel and very collectable. The bad is, it's a diesel with expensive/discontinued/hard to find parts. Any gas D-15 will out pull a diesel as they were only 35 HP compared to 46 HP on the late gas tractor.

Definitely a good price for a D15 diesel as Dr Allis said less power than the gassers but more fuel efficient.I'd love to have one.If you are familiar with Cockshutt tractors
the engine is an updated version of the Cockshutt 30 diesel.
