Deutz built tractors were like 140 HP and smaller and were built in Europe. The first Deutz-Allis American built tractor was the 9100 series, which was basically a White tractor, a modified White cab and a Deutz engine. these were first built and only built in Independence, mizzo in the Gleaner combine plant. The 9700 series were built in Coldwater, Ohio.

None were put together in West Allis, they probably had some there for tests etc,, I think Coldwater Ohio was the first place Deutz Allis tractors were put together after Agco, the only Allis in the first Deutz Allis was the Allis name and decal,, very sad

Not sure if they made any there, but I do recall seeing some sitting in the lot, mixed in with the orange ones, on 70th St. shortly before they closed down. Will also be interested in hearing more info.
