190xt shifting

I bought a 190xt gas last winter. Been a great tractor but the
only thing is you have to double clutch sometimes to go into
gear. I have been very careful not to grind it?s just a little
annoying to have to clutch it this way. Is there an adjustment I
need to make or possibly worn parts that need to be
replaced? Mostly we have red paint so I?m not super familiar
with allis transmission
 
Try holding the petal down for a few seconds before trying to shift, sometime you have to bump the clutch a little to line things up in the trans.
 
I don?t shift while moving or grind gears. I read up on this tractor before I bought it. I know it?s not like a ih where you shift while moving. It?s sounds like what I?m experiencing is normal. It some times acts like the gears aren?t line up so you have to let the clutch out then push back in to get it to slip into gear.
