Alls g engine block

Got a friend of mine looking for a good block for his allis G. Or a complete engine running or to rebuild. Let me know what's out there. Thanks Larry

I'm guessing that block would be identical to one out of a Massey Harris Pony, but get confirmation before you might act on that piece of my memory.

An Allis block has the protrusion for the starter mounting hole cast into it. A <M-H> pony block doesnt (their starter mounted facing rearward on the back of the bell-housing casting).
You could use the pony block in the "G", but with no provision for mounting your starter, you would always have to crank or pull start the tractor!
