AC G fuel tank

Guys I am trying to repair the fuel tank from my buddies little Model G and the entire bottom of the tank has been covered in lead by someone before. He is a good friend so I want to come through for him but this tank has more holes in it than a screen door. Does anyone know where I might find him a good used tank before I start making him a new one out of aluminum. Thanks Skip

I believe stieners has reproduction ones. Used is hit miss but there are a couple of outfits that deal with g parts. Hopefully others can add to this. Also check allis sites and eBay.

You could also check with a local sheet metal shop to see about rolling a new shell. If you can save the ends.

DJS sells them for $395 new. Steiner gets $404 and probably higher shipping too.
