From what I can see it is maybe a B. Just forward of the shiftier should be some numbers and the first letter will tell you the model. Some other pictures from different angle would help 3 picture of the same angle does not help

Thanks for the help, And I am aware of that my post looks stupid with those pictures but I just can?t hardly see anymore.
I was also having some trouble with it because of it being on a small phone
So I?ll check there by the shifter

do you have any advice for researching the tractor?

I guess it helps us deal with the owner?s loss...
His name was Carol Ree
That would be tough growing up with a name like Carol wouldn?t it

Thanks for your help I don?t even know what it means
Sickle plate
But I think I noticed a mower in the back of one of the pictures
I was there but I didn?t catch everything going on.

Sorry I am sending you multiple emails but I?m thinking as I?m going of course and I wanted to ask you if there is a certain area of the tractor or multiple areas of which a picture would be helpful please tell me

I will look by the shifter

is there anyway to find out what year it is ???
Would. other details about this tractor be available??

Again let me know what to provide
Or
what you want to a picture please

It is a pre-1940 Model B...has hand brakes, cannot be a model C. Arched wide front makes it a B.. 1940 they switched to foot brakes. Tractor serial number is by the shifter, starts with a B.

As others have said, it's a B. What throws me off a bit if the steering arm on the gearbox goes up like a C, not down like a B. I wonder if it has had the gearbox replaced with one from a C and now it steers backwards. I've never seen that lift linkage and setup. I'd love to see what it was for originally.

Thank you very much for the information the tractor is about 30 minutes north of Little Rock Arkansas
It?s easy to get to and would be easy to load and a freeway runs right beside the town
A really cool guy name Carol owned this tractor
What I said is true his wife wants to sell it and several other things that She is carefully deciding what to do with
however much of the stuff she has, she wants to sell for a good reason because she can?t do anything with it and her husband and son are both dead.
Anyway she is surely going to want to sell it and if you want to know more or want to speak on the phone that be the easiest thing.
I am a person-to-person kind of a guy and I would like to just chat with you on the phone if you have any further questions or might know anyone who would be interested I?m just trying to help her out I?m not monetarily involved. I moved to Arkansas in 1970 and her son daughter and family were some of my first friends. Her daughter was my first girlfriend.
I know there?s more than you wanted to know but these people are really important to me. And basically it?s just the widow/wife and the daughter lives quite a ways off
I hate saying widow/wife but it does explain the situation
My real name is Doug if you want to trade phone numbers just reply and I?ll check here in a while and we can talk later today and I?ll find out anything I can for you
Thank you so much,
Doug

I'm in Central Alabama, so too far for me. But you shouldn't have any problem selling that. If it has a sickle mower I would love to buy it. But it's still too far away......it's good to see your willingness to help these folks out. Not many people will do things just out of the goodness of the heart. Sounds like a tough situation and you being there to help will be appreciated. My email is open if you want to send your phone number. Always happy to chat with folks. Kevin in Central AL

"yours" has the tourque tube swapped out to have a starter. It also has a battery. Mine doesn't even have a spot for a starter! Yours probably didn't either at one point. Can you get the serial number off it? Man oh man if it was one number different than mine I might have to buy it!!!

When you find the serial number, look it up on this site, to determine the year. Left side of the screen, under Research & Info...Serial Numbers.

You can call it a CB or a BC however you want. The torque tube and steering box is from a C at the very least. Part of the C steering link has been welded to part of the B steering link an fabulous sweeping engineered bend to get it to steer just right maybe. Normally it would steer backwards with the steering box arm pointing up. However it appears that the steering arm on the axle has been altered to correct that, maybe. The torque tube has the support bracket for the longer steering box. Looing as the paint fade I would guess that the B final drives are still bolted to the B transmission. Call it what you want but it aint just a B or just a C.

That serial number going by the serial number list here on YT makes it a 1939
