Allis B weights

I have seen bar-style side weights on Allis Bs and Cs. I know they are fastened to the tractor by a bolt in the approximate side center of
the tractor's frame, but I do not know what holds the other end of the weight toward the front of the tractor. I do not see any bolt holes
up there. Can anyone tell me what holds the front of the weight on? I have a B, and obtained a pair of bar weights at the Le Sueur swap
meet this Spring, and would like to get them installed.

I am not sure if any of the B's were drilled. the C's were drilled for the cultivator brackets and those were the holes used for the weights as well. The B front weights were hung under the front from the front axle. I measured one of my C's and drilled a B in the same place for the guard I made for it.

I did some more looking online, and see that it appears there was a bushing on on bolt that went through the hole you refer to. My B does not have that hole in it. So I will have to figure out the proper place to drill it, and then have the bushing fabricated, unless someone on the board knows where I can find an original.

See the link for how the weights attach to the front support plate. The "spacer" bushings slide into recesses in the front of the side weights to support them. My '42B came with the side weights when it was new and the holes were already there in the front support plate. I've read that not all Bs had those holes, so perhaps they were drilled at the dealers if the tractor was to be supplied with side weights.
