This tractor works fine with about 2275# pressure when it's cold , but when I work it, about 1/2 way through 20 acre field it won't pick up the disk mower unless you feather the lever. let it set over night and it will pick it up fine . Has Permatran 821 XL fluid , and it is a little over full. Can't figure it out.

If you check the pressure with HOT hydraulic fluid, I'm suspecting if you pull the lever clear in, the pressure with not meet your cold specs and if you feather it in, you will meet the specs. Sounds like the main relief valve needs a seal kit. Doesn't sound like the pump to me. Main relief is located at the left front corner of the valve stack. Do NOT try and adjust it. You could remove the Traction Booster relief from the right rear corner and swap locations of the two relief valves and adjust the Traction Booster up from 2100 to 2300 psi. This would prove whether it is a relief problem of a pump problem.
