leaking tranny

My d 17 has a oil leak coming from the tranny where it is attached to the motor. Appears to be a weep hole bottom center, thats where the leak is. Had the motor rebuilt a year ago. No engine leaks, just gear oil. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks Dan

The engine attaches to the torque tube at the bell housing. The transmission is behind the instrument panel. Well, whenever I have an engine removed for any reason, I always replace the throw out bearing and install new clutch shaft seals (2) on the clutch shaft to prevent this from happening. It sounds like hydraulic oil leaking thru the clutch shaft seals inside. If the engine was worked on without removing it from the frame, it really wasn't overhauled. You say it isn't motor oil, so it has to be hydraulic oil.
