I still have not bought a tractor... Life is busy!

I found a C on craigslist yesterday. I emailed the seller for more info. What do you guys think?

Might be if it will run and you get to drive it. I see a rear axle seal is leaking. And like you, open exhaust. Intake???

The ad says the tractor needs engine work and it's been setting five years.
Transmission, and rear drives are probably full of water, too.
Tires are ok to fair and tin is decent. If a guy had an engine ready to go .....

Model C is the bottom of the barrel as far as prices of AC tractors the last one I had ran and operated good had a time getting $450 for it.

Didn't look at the add but you can buy a functioning or a good c cheaper than buying and rebuilding. Now if it is a hobby that's different.

Thanks for all responses.
I know it was almost 30 years ago... but I bought a C that ran and came with a belly mower for $450. And maybe this one is a $450 tractor. $900 to $2000 are the prices I am seeing on the internet these days.
