I bought a used, Main Pressure Relief Valve, and it's putting out 2000 PSI. Do you think the springs may be weak , and I can adjust it up to 2300 PSI and not hurt it?

It is adjustable, so suit yourself. Be sure to adjust it with the engine at full throttle and the hydraulic oil warmed up for accurate settings. Used to be a seal kit for a relief valve was only $25, so I always rebuilt them.

Adjusted the valve to 2300PSI and it took about 3/4 turn. I ordered a seal kit and they are over a hundred dollars now. Thanks for the reply.

70255230 is the seal kit p/n for the relief valve cartridge. It's been a while since I've bought one, but $100 is ridiculous.

70261795 is the seal kit I ordered. Couldn't find 70255230 in 175 book. But I'm not the best looking up parts.
