WD45 Trans Knock?

My WD45 has had a knock in the trans for a long time, what could be the cause? It is in all gears, but goes away with the clutch. Im not terribly worried about it, as it has been there for a long time.

Does it go away when the hand clutch is forward and the foot clutch is released and when the transmission is in any gear and tractor sitting still with engine running ??

Does it go away if you pull the hyd lever all the way down? Mine would drift up just enough that the pump would sit on pressure and rattle/knock a little.
