7000 Series

Ok, I cannot resist. Did any of the 7000 Series have a reputation for jumping out of gear? What is the general opinion of that series? Paul

The 7010 model and up had as beefy transmission as anyone on the market with a redesign than previous AC,s. The 7000 model was similar to the style of a 200, but had somewhat of a "lock" machined into the coupling of the gears that would stand more gear grinding from operators.

No 7000 series jumped out of gear like the 100 series did,, you would have thought Ac would have changed that design on the 100 series as people have gotten killed on a gear jumping 190 !

WHAT IN SAM HILL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT ?? PLEASE EXPLAIN YOURSELF AS YOU ARE LOOKING PRETTY IGNORANT TO ME. THE 7000 SERIES HAS NOTHING THE SAME IN DESIGN. PLEASE GO INTO MORE DETAIL.

I think I may have jumped the gun here. My apologies. The 7000 series DID NOT have gear jumping out issues like the 200's on down. I misread Mr. 301's sentence to mean the 7000 series jumped out just like the older tractors did.
