exc repair vid of ac 7050 split rear main seal fix

I watched the whole thing. I'm old and have worked on those tractors since 1975. The first thing you do is drive the tractor and apply the brakes at full throttle to diagnose what the slipping problem is BEFORE YOU SPLIT THE TRACTOR IN HALF !! I could have saved him a couple hrs of labor during the split. Fuel tank doesn't need to be removed, just lowered at the front. Hood, muffler, air cleaner stack do not get removed. Only TWO bolts at the rear of the top hood get taken out and use a wooden prop to hold the hood up from the valve cover. When the lower two frame bolts get removed you should replace them with long 7/8" dowel bolts to hold up the rear of the engine as there is ZERO support the way he did it. Also, the dowel bolts help in rolling it back together. Rolling it apart cock-eyed just makes for more work getting it back together. Flywheel bolts that were damaged is from some other idiot using an impact wrench on them. The "torque-limiter" should have had an oil shield cover over it (an update) to prevent oil soaking. The rear seal didn't look very wet to me...…..
