Loader on 5050

You bet !

This is a 5040 with live hydraulics and a #400 all-hydraulic loader. Wasn't any problems running it. Only issure would be traction.

The 5040 and 5050 are stout little tractors !

The AC loader for those tractors, pictured, was a good fit. If I remember correctly, an auxiliary pump was mounted on the rear of the tractor.

The AC loader pictured of course would be good also a loader off Long 445 or 460 tractors and a loader off an Oliver 1255 or 1265 would fit.A 4 cylinder Long would have basically the same loader just be a little longer and most loaders have multiple holes to make up the difference. The main thing is to get the hydraulic pump that bolts on above the PTO shaft.

Just FYI, this loader is NOT a "quick-tach" in any sense of the word.... in fact it's a VERY SLOW-tach.
It's more like semi-permament.
For mowing, I took the bucket off and tied the tilt cylinders to the arms to better see where I was going and make it less stressful on the front end.
And yes, the live hyd pump(via 2-stage clutch) is on the back end right above the PTO.
