About how much is a compact diesel 2wd worth? It has turf tires,,runs and operates and is in pretty good shape,,I saw it in person,,its an on line bid estate sale

I see those advertised for up around $3000 or even more don't know if they sell, but no way I'd pay that much as major parts for them are not available unless a parts tractor can be found. The steering parts seem to be one of the big issues I see the owners are looking for a lot of the time.I have a Massey Ferguson 220 which is about the same model as the AC 5030 it has a little more power than the 5020.Used to be a 4WD but I bought it for less than $1000 because the owner couldn't find parts for the 4WD.I took the 4WD front off and put a 2WD front on it off a
5020 parts tractor I have, makes a nice little tractor to run my 4ft tiller. My estimation is to own one you need to have a parts tractor or 2 around.

When we were looking for a compact tractor a few years ago I traveled a pretty good distance with the intention of buying a real nice one from an estate. Started it up, drove it about 10 feet, put it reverse and backed it into the building and shut it off and apologized to the person for wasting their time. The 2 cylinder engine in that thing vibrated like nothing I have ever sat on before , no thanks. Went and bought a Kubota.

Forgot to answer your question. They dont bring much unless extra nice or with factory accessories. Anaverageshape one might bring $2000 while a real nice one might fetch 3K. The one I looked at had a 60" belly mower and a loader and only had 500 hours on it and they wanted $5000 for it

Its at 700 now and the on line bidding goes two more days,,I m not interested,,,thanks for the advice. It started real low and stayed there,so I wanted to do some research,,thanks again

They are good little tractors. Made by Hinomoto which was later acquired by Hitachi...these have a Toyosha engine.

Not much available for parts...mufflers and waterpumps is all I have seen. These were also marketed by Massey Ferguson and some parts are supposedly still available for the Massey version(which fit the Allis version). Filters..air oil and fuel.. are available at Napa(Fleet-gard)

I paid $500 for mine which is a turf/belly mower version. The belly mower(a Simpson product) caused more problems than it was worth. I stripped the belly mower and electric clutch off my 5020 and replaced it with a three-point mounted John Deere 261 grooming mower. This makes a most satisfactory mowing rig. I use it with a rear blade in the winter to move snow.

I bought my 9523 Simplicity which is the same tractor as the 5020 brand new with loader, belly mower, back blade and power take off 5 foot rotary mower. I have over 2000 hours on it and still use it with the loader daily to feed hay. I love it. I later bought a two bottom plow and a 5 foot three point disc to use with it. It needs a clutch after all these years so I have to use the low range a lot. I have a new clutch and pressure plate here to put in.

When I built my 100 X 70 plastic molding room I used it to remove the top soil and leveled the base for the floor. I used it to build the drive for semis to get to the dock at the back of the factory as well as the employee parking lot. This summer I removed the topsoil and leveled the limestone base for the She Shed. I have even used it on my 277 NH baler a couple times on light windrows.
