Need help figuring out the year.

I just picked up a tractor from my grandfather. I have no idea what year it is. I think it's a Model B. On the transmission where my feet rest iit has Tractor No. B9665. Thanks for the help!

If the serial number is correct, that's an excellent find. I sold the only 1938 I had many years ago and would still love to have another. Since most of us have Bs, be sure to ask about anything you run into.

Thank you. So your saying this is a 1938? Ireally appreciate your help. Has the 6ft sickle
bar still attached to it. Don't think he ever took it off!

If the serial number is in the 9000 range, then yes. At least the transmission case is a 1938 in any case. The link that gatz271 posted will show you the serial number ranges. Really nice little tractors.
