7060 Hourly Charge Rate.

I posted this same question on the Allis Chalmers forum so those of you who visit both will have seen it.

I have a 7060 that I have been pulling an 8 yard scraper do some work for myself, but I have been asked by a neighbor to do some work for him too. A local rental company rents this same scraper out at $300.00 per day, which based on a 10 hour day would be $30.00 per hour for the scraper. What would be a reasonable rate to charge for the tractor?

Iowa State University Custom Farming Survey says $.20 per horsepower hour. At 170 horse, thats $34 an hour.

Then you have to add the hourly rate of the operator.
