Was there an aftermarket kit to put a 3 pt on a WC? I can't tell if this is aftermarket or home made/modified. Would be worth the price for the RR tire and hydraulic setup...less all the black (hopefully) pipe. I think I need to add this to my herd of WC's
WC

Why would any Company make an add-on 3 pt hitch for a tractor that didn't have a hydraulic system ???????

They make them for Farmall H/M's. Did they have a stock hydraulic system? I know some did/do but were they factory or aftermarket?

Touche. I get a little trigger happy sometimes when I'm browsing CL. That's why I never call right away. Just like getting mad, sometimes you have to let yourself calm down a bit and be more rational before you talk to someone lol

home made, it should work, but those hydraulic cylinders will pick up way more than the tractor should, with no weight on the front id think 8 or 900 lbs should have the front wheels flapping in the breeze, weighted, id ask what the tractor was doing before, its possible to hurt that thing picking up too much

I wouldn't be so much interested in the tractor as a unit, but to rob parts for my WC. Use the hydraulic pump, reservoir and valve(s) for aux ports for a dump wagon or wheel disc or something like that. Use the cylinders on other projects, the good tire(s), etc.

3 pt might be kind of neat if I took some time and built a good unit that didn't look like it was made out of paper mache and bubblegum but I have other tractors with 3 pt, so not a big deal. without it.

Home made.
The cylinder arrangement looks like there could be problems with unequal lift, unless there's a flow divider.

$500 is not too bad a price for a new tire.

Looks to me like it has a steel rear end...WWII tractor. There is some value in that uniqueness.

That is homemade. Knew a guy that made a 3pt once for an unstyled WC. He was a welder by trade. Put a pump in front of the magneto. A oil resavoir on the side of the frame with valves mounted on the near the steering wheel. Even had remote hydraulics. Made a complete 3pt hitch out of 3/4x3 flat iron. It was a cat 2 hitch. Worked very well.

His welding shop went bellyup in the 80's. Dad tried to buy the WC but the owner wouldn't sell. Sat on the lot for years and then one day disappeared.

I've never seen an H or M Farmall that didn't have the single action factory sytem. Some of them had the optional double action remotes.
