7000 PTO noise

Looking at a 7000 that has been sitting for some time. Runs, shifts great, no hydraulic issues, everything functions as it should. When I engage the PTO, there is a clunking noise under the floor, sounds like it is coming from the front of the transmission but when I get out of the cab, the noise sounds like it is in the back of the transmission. Never been inside one of these, so I'm not really sure what it will take to repair. Do any of you know what could be the cause and how extensive a repair this could be?

I'm going to tell you it is perfectly NORMAL. If you throttle it up above 1500 RPM or so, the noise goes away. NORMAL for a model 7000 tractor.
