Help- just came in from field and my 1968 Allis 190 stopped moving...in about 2 minutes just stopped. Never done this before; I got down and hyd oil is running out on the back side(rear) of the hyd pump- mounted on left front of engine. It hard to see behind it- I dont see a line on back side...anyone have this happen? Thanks.

As long as it isn't one of the two lines or connections on the bottom of the pump, sounds like the pump may have split a section or for sure blew out a seal in a section. Not a terribly common failure, but hey, it's 45 years old. You need to find an old AC dealer who is good at rebuilding those triple gear style pumps.

ok...heading out to pull it off- not sure where Ill find that dealer...ill check around; maybe just a hyd shop but will cost like
heck! Thanks!

Allis is now part of Agco so if you have an Agco dealer around they should be able to help you. Maybe you will get lucky and have an Agco dealer like I have close since the Agco dealer in my area was the A/C dealer back in the 80s

yep I do....thanks.... 50 miles from me...they should be able to get it done for me; anyone ever taken this pump off? Hope the gear just pulls out on the pump? No timing..correct? Thanks.

Prices like what the one guy said is one reason I got rid of the XT190 I had. Plus for 44 acres of land the XT190 was just to big of a tractor to warrant having. Back then it cost me around $800 to get the injector pump rebuilt.

i got pump for a 185 from A&I 190 price from 2000.00 2350.00 thy also have repair kits and section and gears shifts theirs like 4 different pumps if it a broken section you get them also

okay.......thanks for the info- have you taken one off? No book here...does the pump slide out of a gear? Thanks.

I usually remove the rear inlet manifold first( 4 short bolts) and then the two 6 inch long 3/8" bolts that hold the pump to the drive. Pull it rearward 2 inches and it is off.

ok thanks...I will do this soon...still in the field..trying to get it to the house but no steering and the front wheels keep
turning! Where do I find parts for this pump? Thanks.
