I think I know how I am going to tackle this, but here is my question. I am converting a hand crank unstyled WC and putting a newer starter clutch housing on the chassis. When I joined the engine back onto the clutch housing I can't get the throw out bearing far enough forward to engage the spring release levers on the clutch. Attached is a picture. The throw out bearing is barely touching the release levers and just seeking advice before I start back at it. Thank you.

Throw out bearing appears to be on backwards and the part of the bearing that spins in not on the pressure plate fingers so the bearing cannot work

Looks like the throw out bearing is on backwards.
