I would bet that you have some junk floating around and stopping up the inlet to your sediment bowl. It would be best to take the sediment bowl out and let some gas wash out some of the stuff.

Sounds like some water maybe got into the carb. There should be a pet cock at the bottom of the carb. open it up and let some stuff out. Clean the heck out of the bowl and screen filter and try that. If it works, the next smart step would be to cut the metal fuel line a few inches from the carb and install a cheap but VERY useful inline fuel filter. If properly maintained, nothing big enough to clog the jets will ever get through. This has worked for me, anyway. Good luck, RC

Today's Featured Article - The Engine Rebuild Kit - by Curtis Von Fange. I always liked engine rebuild kits. But it's important not to let that packaging lull you into a false sense of security. The appearance of matching sleeves, pistons, rings, and bearings can cause frustration and agony if not properly measured and installed in a workshop environment. Following c ... [Read Article]
