: I have a 1962 AC C Gleaner that I know longer use,it has a really good engine, question is will this engine interchange with any of the tractor engines, I would like to find something to put it in. I would appreciate any help or ideas.

According to all the books I have on the C model Gleaner the engine should be a "262". This would be the same as a D-19, or D-17 Diesel. If your combine does in fact have the "265" engine it would fit a 180, 185, or staight 190. The 265 will have a name plate with an engine model on the left front of the block that will have a G2500 designation on it. Hope this helps. TED
