carburetor rebuild question

Am going to rebuild the crab on my d17. It is a MS 871. I have three maintains manuals and none of go into how for a cab. Will some one point me to a document on how to rebuild my crab? Thanks.
 
Don't know that there is a manual for carburetor rebuild.

Order a kit by the carburetor numbers.

There is a lot of differences in kits. Some have gaskets
and needle valve only. Some have a throttle shaft.

Steiner tractor parts has good kits. There should be some
instructions with the kit.

You need a can of carburetor cleaner and fine wires to
clean out the jets.
 
Ifyou have a O'Reilly's auto parts store in your area pull the carb and take it in with you and they should be able to get you a Walker brand kit for it and it has all the info you need with the kit to rebuild it
