AC WD Market

Hi,
Can't figure this out.
I know money's tight,
but I have a deal for someone
in the classifieds,
2 WD's, 1 belly mower, 1 loader, both run.
1 WD45, loader, doesn't run.
Brush Hog.
Spare parts I tend to accumulate when I own something.
I'm askin 2400 for all, even have a 3-point hitch adapter.
That's 800 each, yet average cost it out
and come out good with the extra parts.
My question, I am not getting hits on this ad,
are WDs that bad of a market right now?
I'd even negotiate, do some trading.
I just can't keep up on everything anymore,
have to get rid of things.
All my Jeep CJ stuff has gone bye-bye,
at real good prices.
Just need a home for these.
So, is the market that bad?
any interest here?

Any input appreciated. Thanks,

I highly recommend craigslist ad WITH PICS. If you are not computer savvy find someone to help. Your chance of selling goes up 1000 times and your ad goes national. Costs nothing. Post the ad link here. And don't say you can't.

I would agree with BillytheKid. Craigslist will get you good exposure in the local market and with a package deal like that it will be easier to sell to a local guy than someone a few hundred miles away. Personally I would have to make multiple trips to get everything since I don't have a rig to handle 3 tractors plus the accessories.

Price wise I imagine you are in the ballpark, but I don't know how popular AC is in your area. I'm in SW Iowa and I paid less than $800 for a running WD45 with new rear tires, aftermarket 3pt hitch & loader. AC is not a real sought after tractor in these parts.

Based on what I am hearing on corn prices I don't expect a whole lot of money flowing this fall.

I really appreciate all the tips.
Have to come up with a digital camera,
mine died when I had that lightning strike
a while back, along with a bunch of other
stuff fried, oh well.

So, I think I will kind of take all the advice and mix it together.
I will get pics, maybe try as package deal or individual,
gotta think on that, then post on craigslist, and come back here with a link.

By the way, I can help with hauling, within reason.
Love trading for Second Amendment related items, too.
Also, can I post a link on this site?
Some sites don't allow that.
And lastly, should I put the link here
in the AC group, or in the classifieds?
Whatever you all think is best,
I appreciate it.
Give me a bit of time, I'll get pics and get the ad(s) up.
Thanks,
Danny

I'm not Iowa, but I'm east central Illinois.
What part of Ohio?
I ain't that far from the border.
Soon as I get a digital camera and pics,
I will follow the previous gentlemen's advice,
and post individually, with links here.

I have two fairly decent WD's,
1 w belly mower,
1 w front loader.
then the WD45 seized engine, power steering, front loader.

Spent day at VA yesterday, and the drive hurts,
so I ain't got much done today. I'll be getting on pics and renewing the ad(s) soon.

I have too many irons in the fire for what I can do right now.
Have spare engine, wheels, etc.

Thanks, Danny
