bjb,
That's an interesting B you have there.
It looks like a pre-'41 with handbrakes with a 50s style adjustable wide front. Or......maybe a C front end adapted to the B?
My Dad bought a B brand new in '41. It had Electrics, starter, foot brakes and hydraulics.
He had a set of plows like yours but hydraulicly lifted. I always thought these plows worked really well as when one plow is in making a furrow, the other one is just "hanging around" providing weight right where it's needed.
My Dad left that plow drawbar on as much as he could as it makes a nice step for getting on the tractor.
Many times my brother and I would ride on that bar; one on either side and hanging on to the steering column.
Brings back some good memories.

It is a 1940, and it is the correct "B" adjustable wide front. In 1940, the adjustable one was available as an upgrade to the standard "wishbone" front end. I haven't had a chance to put the plows any distance in the ground, b/c the tractor is back home in Nebraska and my dad usually still has stuff in the garden when I am home.

I didn"t know the adjustable front axle was available on the early Bs.
Leraned something new.....thanks.
