I have seen that there were options for the B-series tractors to have dual wheels for the snow blower and maybe other accessories. Are there such options for the 716H? If so, does anyone have the details for the kit? I would like to fabricate such a kit for my tractor. Did they use hub extenders to bolt on another pair of wheels with tiers or were they a different type system? I can't seem to find any detailed information. Pictures and dimensions would be great.

I don't think it would be hard to make a adapter and put duals on it... But dual wheels and snow don't usually work out well. When it comes to snow my experience is narrow and tire chains with weight.

Most mowers use the same bolt pattern, adapters from one brand should fit another. I completely wore out a set of chains on a 712H with 150# of wheel weights.(brother was a pattern maker in a foundry)

Today's Featured Article - Major Problems - by Anthony West. Following the aquisition of the two Fordsons to my collection I found that I was struggling to move them about. I had considered the possibility of driving the "F" to and from shows but anything other than local rallies was totaly impractical due to its sedate pace. I had also considered buying a landrover and trailer, but the price of a ... [Read Article]
