D17 series 1 engine serial number

I've recently bought a D17 serial number 1717. Im wondering if
someone can help me locate the engine serial number. Second
question, it has an Allis loader on it but I'm not sure the model
number I'm guessing a 500?? Would there be a serial number
stamped on it some where? Thank you, Brian

If it's a Allis loader, look for a tag near the top of the frame, where loader hinges. Motor # should be stamped on motor an inch forward of the tractor #.
