6060 injection pump?

I have a 6060 that slowly lost power. Then it would run for a little while and die. The time between running and dying became shorter and shorter. When I take the inspection cover off the side of the injection pump and drain the fuel it runs good until it builds pressure then it will slowly die. I have replaced the fuel filter. Does this sound like my injection pump is bad?

The weight retainer ring is disintegrating inside the pump , it wont live long , gotta be redone - if your mechanically handy , they can be replced on a work bench , just watch how it comes apart and reassemble the oppisite

Yes, at least that part that goes bad. My F2 combine with the same basic engine did the same thing.
